I Want to be a Spy explores the wishful desire to be respected and invincible: “When I tell people what Iwant to do / They glance at me funny then look right through…”

Waiting for the Present is a contemplation of love and time: “Living in the future / Remembering the past /Waiting for the present / Impossible to last …”
